Welcome to the Students Welfare Association in Narvik

The Students Welfare Association (SSiN) is the help organisation for students in Narvik. We can assist you with housing, childcare and many other everyday problems.

The SSiN information desk, inside the school's main entrance, is open from 08.00 to 15.30 Mon-Fri.

SSiN has 254 bed-sit rooms and 71 self contained flats available for rent.

Prices between NOK 3110,- to 7950,-. Prices include eletric, internet service. You have too apply for housing befor May 1st.

Dining facilities

At Narvik University College you will find our cafe/resturant with seating for 400 and panoramic views over Narvik town. Good reasonably priced food all day.

Sport and leisure

Friskhuset Hei is one of Norway's best all-round sport complex'es. Here you find all the things you need for training. Saunas and sun beds are also available.

Student problem an crisis advisory service

Students can have problems both at home or at school where advice is needed, and this is why we have our own fulltime guidance counsellor and student priest.
