For those of you who would like to take on exciting tasks within the field of engineering, and those of you who envisage a job with active participation in project work and planning within several fields, then a Masters Degree in Integrated building technology is the perfect course.



A successful development process in construction usually requires involvement of different specialist areas within design:
• Architecture and building technology
• Heating-, ventilation and sanitation technology
• Energy technology
• Automation
• Internal environment
• Management, operational services and maintenance




Through this course, you will acquire a universal education where teaching is based upon a European standard. The qualification attained can be used across the entire EU and EEC. In addition, Narvik University College has comprehensive collaborative projects with Russia and China through partnerships in Archangel and Beijing.

The cross-field option qualifies you for a range of tasks within management, advisory services, project management and Research & Development. Typical work tasks that you are in a position to undertake following completion of the course:
• Planning and project management at advisory engineering firms and contractors within the fields of building technology, heat ventilation and sanitation, energy technology and internal environment.
• Management, operations and maintenance of constructions.
• Research & development.

If you are in employment, you can take a Masters degree part-time over four years. An individual course plan can be drawn up for you.
Further education:
The course qualifies you for research education (PhD/Dr. Eng). This is available at Narvik University College through collaboration with universities in Norway and in Sweden.

Medium of instruction is Norwegian.

Applicants with qualifications outside the Nordic region must document Norwegian language proficiency.
