The Students Welfare Association (SSiN) is the help organisation for students in Narvik. We can assist you with housing, childcare and many other everyday problems.

SSiN has 280 bed-sit rooms and 84 self contained flats available for rent.
Prices between NOK 2.990,- to NOK 7.585,-. Prices include electric, internet service and internal phone system. We guarantee accommodation for all of our students who apply for housing before May 1st 2010. Contact our information desk for further assistance.

Soria Moria children's day centre is situated just 500 m from HiN with capacity for 70 children. Places are guaranteed to those students who apply before May 1st. Contact the information desk for help with your application.

Dining facilities
At HiN you will find our café/restaurant with seating for 400 and panoramic views over Narvik town. Good, reasonably priced food all day.

Sport and leisure at HiN
Idrettssenteret is one of Norway's best all-round sport complex'es and offers aerobic, body building, pilates, X-cycling, climbing, bouldering, squash, boxing, kickboxing, yoga and paintball. Saunas and sun beds are also available.
